Features of the Physicomechanical Behaviour of Polymethyl Methacrylate Produced Using Prepolymer Solutions

Abstract

A study was made of the physicomechanical properties of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) produced by the polymerisation of solutions of low-molecular-weight PMMA (grade LSOM) in methyl methacrylate. It was shown that this approach to producing block polymer glass makes it possible to change the flow temperature of the finished material while retaining its physicomechanical characteristics.
