Abstract
The task of the present work is to investigate the effect of the radiation dose on the effectiveness of crosslinking and the structure of an ethylene–vinyl acetate copolymer filled with aluminium trihydrate. The effectiveness of radiation chemical crosslinking of a highly filled ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer by comparison with an unfilled copolymer was established, which is confirmed by the results of investigating the kinetics of swelling and thermal deformation, and by gel fraction analysis.
