Abstract
Lanxess is the largest German chemicals group and supplies products to all the important world markets. The production plants of the company comprise 44 enterprises with a workforce of over 15 000 in 21 countries worldwide. According to 2007 results, the turnover of Lanxess amounted to €6.61 billion.
