Clozapine treatment for schizophrenic offenders incarcerated in a correctional mental health setting is a relatively new approach in forensic psychiatry. The authors describe the selection process for candidates, safeguards, follow-up, and a support group. The majority of the group experienced symptom relief within weeks of beginning Clozapine.
