Every juvenile sex offender is seen on the day of detention at the police station. This project is based on the assumption that early intervention may prevent male juvenile sex offenders from developing into sexually abusive men. Assessment of the offense, diagnosis, and treatment of the juvenile have proven to be helpful. The project occurred at Utrecht, The Netherlands.
