The case described in the Ciba Foundation Lecture (supra 3) p.p. 11-13 is one example of this. He has since then managed without committing any crime, but he has been spreading disaster around him. His work pattern has been very unstable and his sexual life upsetting, especially to his wife. When he finally suggested a very special sexual triangle, she broke down and had to be treated in a psychiatric hospital. He has since received an invalid pension.
