The paper presents a simple method for derivation of four in-plane and out-of-plane properties of orthotropic sheets, which are a matter of interest to engineering students, along different directions as a helpful teaching tool. The prerequisite knowledge of students to follow the subject is undergraduate level of strength of materials.
