1.The National Radical Camp ABC formed around the ABC daily . The name also alludes to the imperial ambitions of its followers who wanted to regain territory between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black Seas, which had once belonged to Poland. Despite its nationalist nature, this group remained in opposition to the rightwing, authoritarian rule of the Sanation – a political movement associated with Józef Piłsudski, which ruled Poland from the so-called May Coup (1926) until the outbreak of war in 1939 . The term ‘sanation’ referred to the healing regarded as necessary against corruption in public life.
