Interviews took approximately 90 minutes. A semi-structured format used some 15 questions as the basis of its substance and procedure. This provided participants ample opportunity for discussion, and resulted in extensive exploration of the relevant issues. All interviews were taped, allowing their interpretation to be made subsequently.
