Abstract
The Report of the Independent Commission of International Development Issues (The Brandt Report) published early in 1980, made a global analysis of North-South relations and suggested a range of policy proposals. In his article Graham Bird endeavoured to identify the economic reasoning that underlies the Report's proposals on finance and devised an international financial strategy to alleviate the world's economic problems. Published below are comments received on this strategy from H. W. Singer and A. Federman.
