The authors would like to inform that on page no.44 of said article in the objective of the abstract, ‘a vivo study’ is written which is incorrect. The objectives also have been revised. The list of corrections is present below:
A vivo study is incorrect. It was an in vitro study as it was done on the extracted teeth.
Introduction: The information on the quantitative evaluation of enamel surface roughness after interproximal reduction is limited, hence the need for this in vitro study.
Objectives: The primary objective of this study was to evaluate the enamel surface roughness with an Atomic force microscope after interproximal reduction using two methods: hand-held proximal strips and ARS technique with burs and also after polishing the reduced enamel with 3M Sof-Lex finishing strips. The secondary objective was evaluation of the surface roughness of two types of proximal strips using Confocal microscope, before and after interproximal reduction.
