Abstract
Dr Gustavo Ramirez, President of the Spanish Society of Veterinary Pathology (SEAPV), mentions in a “Letter to the Editor” that the authors of the article “A Short History of the Origins of the European Society of Veterinary Pathology in the Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Veterinärpathologen” published in Veterinary Pathology did not list the Spanish Society of Veterinary Pathology (SEAPV; http://www.uco.es/grupos/seapv/) in Table 2 on page 3. The authors had no intention to neglect this important national society of veterinary pathology, however, focused on the origins of ESVP rather than reviewing all European societies of veterinary pathology.
