Abstract
We are very pleased to offer members of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) the opportunity to choose an electronic-only subscription to Veterinary Pathology. We believe that this option provides value because of member concern for environmental sustainability and because some do not have office space for stacks of journals. This initiative is facilitated by the new mobile-optimized Veterinary Pathology website, where members can download full articles onto tablet devices or smartphones (not to mention desktop or laptop computers). This subscription option has been made available through a collaboration of SAGE with journal and ACVP staff. The details provided below indicate how to elect this option.
When ACVP members select the option to receive the journal online only, they will no longer receive printed issues. To go paperless, please contact Molly Vanderlin at mvanderlin@acvp.org. She will make sure that your next issue of the journal is available in paperless format.
As always, the electronic version of Veterinary Pathology is available through SAGE Journals Online for ACVP members and subscribers. If you have not activated your account, please follow the steps below: Go to the SAGE Journals Online site: https://online.sagepub.com/cgi/activate/basic. Where it says “Activate Your Online Subscription,” enter your member ID and select “American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP)” from the society drop-down menu and click “Submit.” On the “Instructions” page, be sure to check your personal data. Enter a username and password and click submit to confirm activation. Do not click the “Journal Title” link until the confirmation process has been completed. Once complete, return to the electronic journal homepage and select the journal cover for access to the current issue or click “Current Issue.” To select an issue from the archive, click “All Issues.” To search for articles, either click “Search This Journal” or use the “Advance Journal Search.”
You will use your username and password when returning to the site http://vet.sagepub.com. If you forget your username or password, go to the “Subscribe” tab and look for the link “What to do if you forget your Username and/or Password” under “Managing your Subscription to Veterinary Pathology,” or you can go to http://online.sagepub.com/cgi/recnamepwd to have it reset there. You will be asked to provide some information about yourself. Upon confirmation of the information, your username and/or password will be e-mailed to you.
