A case of interstitial pulmonary fibrosis following BCNU adjuvant therapy in a 49-year old man is reported. The diagnosis was suggested by clinical and post-mortem pathological findings. From our and other experiences, there is some convincing evidence that use of BCNU can cause fatal interstitial pulmonary fibrosis.
