Splenic Hemangiosarcoma with Spontaneous Rupture and Liver Metastases.

Abstract

A case of a 31 years-old male with pathologic rupture of the spleen and hemoperitoneum, caused by a primitive splenic hemangiosarcoma and occurred during a weight-lifting is described. A metastatic involvement of the liver was also noted. The patient was splenectomized and died within 2 months.
