In this paper, which considers the world case-material and that of the National Cancer Institute of Milan, the indications, contraindications, limits and diagnostic potential of transcutaneous lung biopsy in the diagnosis of unspecified peripheral pulmonary condensation are evaluated both in clinical and in radiological terms.
