A case of mesonephroma of the ovary in a 10 years old girl is presented. A review of 284 cases of mesonephroma shows that 1) ovaries, cervix and vagina are sites of predilection in this same order; 2) most of the ovarian cases occur during the puberal and menopausal period, whereas no age is preferred by the extraovaric cases; 3) death rates after 1 or 5 years are higher for the ovarian cases and for young patients.
