30 postmenopausal or oophorectomised women with metastasising breast cancer were treated with cyclophosphamide 500 mg weekly or with triethylenthiophosphoramide 20 mg monthly; aminopterin, fluorouracil or vinblastine were given in association. A marked reduction of the metastases was observed in 15 of the 30 cases treated.
