A case of pseudosarcomatous proliferative myositis of the left sartorius muscle in a 73-year-old patient is reported. This is the 42nd case of the disease in the world literature. The process is interpreted as a fibromatosis rich in myoblasts representing an attempt at regeneration of the muscle fibers.
