Intraperitoneally or subcutaneously injected narciclasine exerts an inhibiting activity on the mitoses of ascites Sarcoma 180. According to the dosage mitoses are blocked at metaphase or at preprophase. For the highest doses a mitoclasic effect is also present. Mitoses of duodenal mucosa and of bone marrow were much less affected by narciclasine.
