Five mg of benzo[a]pyrene and 500 mg of epsilon-aminocaproic acid were injected subcutaneously three times, at the same site and at the same time, to 15 Wistar rats, while a control group was given benzpyrene alone. Subcutaneous sarcomas developed in all animals of both groups, but in the animals treated with both chemicals the latent period and the survival time was significantly shorter than in the control group, and, at the death of the animals, the weight of the tumors was considerably greater.
