Five cases of syringomas localized at the head were studied: they were characterized by histological and clinical benignancy. Histologically, in 3 cases prevailed a solid structure with glands and cords composed of pluristratified cubic epithelial cells and of myoepithelial cells, while in the other 2 cases prevailed canalicular and cystic structures. Histochemical studies revealed the presence of glycogen in the tumor cells and in the intracellular spaces.
