The induction of the resistance to Walker carcinosarcoma in solid and ascites form has been attempted in rats by the subcutaneous implantation of fragments from « in vitro » irradiatied tumour and by the intraperitoneal injection of « in vitro » irradiated total or filtrated ascites. These researches gave only indicative results. It has been also observed that a number of rats show resistance to successive transplantations (up to four) of tumour ascites.
