Soluble proteins of various spontaneous and trasplanted mammary carcinomas in different strains of mice were chromatographed and separated into a number of peaks by gradient elution from DEAE-cellulose column. Several enzyme activities were determined in the various fractions. The chromatographic patterns were very similar in all the neoplastic tissues studied. Some enzyme activities appear to be divided into various components, which probably represent different molecular structures of the same enzyme.
