125 primary sarcomas of the pharynx, radiologically treated in the years 1928 at 1945 in the Cancer Institute of Milan, have been statistically studied basing: on criteria taking into account the most important clinical and histological data.
The evolution of the neoplasms and the results obtained after roentgentherapy will be considered in a second part of the paper.
