The possible existence of primary bone tumours with thyroid and hypernephroid structure is discussed. It is deemed that such neoplasms are, in reality, metastases (often single) from clinically undetected thyroid or renal tumours. The low biological and clinical malignancy explains the long latency period of the primary bulk, while only the metastatic formation becomes clinically demonstrable.
