Abstract
The selective arteriography by catheterism of the humeral artery finds its best indication in renal neoplasms, in which it supplies angiographic pictures of significant diagnostical value. This investigation may be profitable also in liver neoplasms, on the purpose of a detailed study of the hepatic circulation. Some suggestive pictures demonstrate that the renal selective arteriography allows the early detection of renal tumours, their exact location, the differential diagnosis with cysts and hydronephrosis and the evaluation of the tumor extension. As concerns the liver, the number of cases examined hitherto is insufficient to allow conclusions for a differentiation between primary and secondary neoplasms.
