In 12 patients bearing mammary cancer, hyperplasy of the ovarian stroma has constantly been observed. In 3 cases ovarian micrometastases were present. In most cases menopause was observed to occur later than usually. This observation furtherly supports the hypothesis that folliculine excess is a co-factor of primary importance in the occurrence of mammary canper.
