The action of β-amino-glutaric acid and α-amino-glutaric acid (glutamic acid) was studied on the epithelization of skin wounds in the rat rump. β-amino-glutaric acid showed a clear inhibiting action, while glutamic acid did not influence the wounds’ healing.
