Researches have been carried out (with Warburg apparatus) on the action of progesteron on respiration aerobic and anaerobic glycolysis of Ehrlich adenocarcinoma and benzopyrene sarcoma.
Progesteron has a depressing action on respiration and anaerobic glycolysis and an increasing action on aerobic glycolysis of both tumours.
