Abstract
A large number of cases of sarcoma of muscles of the trunk and limbs is described. A comparison is made with similar French statistics. Some data of this statistics do not agree with those of the French authors. Both sexes are liable to such tumours. The most frequent localization is in the lower limbs, chiefly in the upper third of the thigh. Histologically they generally correspond to the type of the blastic sarcoma arising from the connective tissue of the muscles. The surgical treatment is extensively discussed.
