Cutaneous metastases from colon cancer are uncommon and usually present as nodular lesions. We describe a patient with colonic carcinoma who developed an inflammatory pattern of cutaneous metastases. A review of the literature is also presented. Recognition of this entity is important as it may be mistaken for erysipelas and radiation recall phenomenon.
Early treatment with chemotherapy can result in meaningful palliation.
