Chondrosarcoma of the larynx is a rare tumor; worldwide only about 250-300 cases have been described in the literature. We present a clinical case of laryngeal chondrosarcoma manifesting as a swollen mass of 10 × 7 × 6 cm in the infrahyoid and left lateral cervical region. The patient underwent total laryngectomy, thyroidectomy and bilateral neck dissection. A review of the literature on this disease is also reported.
