Survival analysis techniques were used to compare the long-term incidence of peptic ulceration occurring in fenbufen, indomethacin and aspirin treated patients with a “background” incidence for the whole population.
The results of this analysis indicate that the incidence of peptic ulceration occurring in patients receiving long-term therapy with fenbufen is comparable to the background incidence for the whole population
