A randomized double-blind study in ambulatory patients with osteoarthritis of hip and/or knee was conducted, comparing the efficacy and safety of diflunisal 500 mg daily with ibuprofen 1200 mg daily, over a period of 8 weeks.
Thirty-five patients participated in the study.
The results revealed no significant differences between the treatment groups with regard to the efficacy parameters.
