The effect of insulin-induced hypoglycaemia was investigated on adrenal medullary secretion and synthesis of catecholamines in the adrenal glands of dogs. Hypoglycaemia induced increased secretion and very rapid and abundant synthesis of catecholamine in the adrenal.
