A case of Stevens-Johnson syndrome secondary to Phenytoin therapy is presented in which recurrence of the syndrome followed resumption of its administration. Review of the earlier literature reveals that this confirms previous assumptions, and attention is focused onto its relevance in the treatment of epilepsy.
