Abstract
One issue in macromarketing is the effect of marketing programs on people's satisfaction with their lives. This article reports on an empirical test of a model that proposes mediating factors between hospital satisfaction and life satisfaction. The results show that hospital satisfaction affects life satisfaction through two factors: satisfaction with community health care and satisfaction with personal health. Health care strategies and policies to establish long-term relationships with patients are discussed in light of the study findings.
