This article reflects an attempt to identify some methodological issues in macro-marketing. Methodology is treated in its broader meaning of an approach to the conduct and nature of inquiry. This article examines the links between the methodological domain and the conceptual and substantive domains and draws implications for theory generation in macromarketing.
