This article investigates the major topics composing the political environment of international marketing and the pedagogical approaches that could be used to teach them. Based on a survey of seven popular international marketing textbooks, several detailed suggestions on what topical areas to cover and how to cover them in order to enhance the teaching/learning experience in international marketing courses are provided.
