This article presents a tested approach to preparing services marketing students to be more skillful analysts and problem solvers. The Framework for Integrated Training for Services (FITS) integrates three methods—the critical incident technique, service process analysis, and role playing to improve students' competencies in synthesizing information and evaluating service quality.
