The authors found that students showed greater sensitivity than practitioners to social responsibility issues. However, three business ethics issues were identified for which marketing educators need to raise the ethical standards of students to be more consistent with those of marketing professionals. Educators should focus on the male students, who were less critical than the females of questionable business practices.
