Forty-four statements about marketing were evaluated on a five-point Likert-type scale by MBA and undergraduate students taking introductory level marketing classes. Undergraduates tended to idealize marketing on ethical issues while both graduates and the undergraduates seemed to exhibit very positive attitudes toward marketing as a business force.
