Abstract
The majority of marketing majors in American colleges must be satisfied with a single public relations course, usually conducted by faculty outside the Marketing Department and the School of Business. This article describes the background of this pervasive problem and suggests a curriculum which would allow business faculty without a professional PR background to use previously acquired writing, analytical and other critical skills to overcome the inherent time and instructional constraints.
