A minority of schools offer one or more courses in nonprofit or service marketing. Several possible reasons for limited nonprofit/service offerings are proposed, including the integration of nonprofit/service marketing concepts into existing courses such as marketing research, which can be taught effectively by using a nonprofit or service organization's research problems as a course project. Benefits of this approach are discussed and three examples of nonprofit/service projects are described.
