Abstract
This paper presents a model which meets a need that many teachers of basic marketing have long felt, that students should gain experiential as well as textbook understanding of the con cept of market response. Discussion begins with a description of a computer model which can be used by students interactively at a computer terminal. The use of the model in a classroom situation is then addressed. This is followed by comments on the structure of the model.
