Nutritional support has an important role in enhancing quality of life in advanced cancer, whether the aim is to enhance cancer treatment, support rehabilitation or promote the enjoyment of food. There are many causes of nutritional disorders and palliation can be achieved in a variety of ways. The advice and support of a dietitian can be invaluable.
