The aim was to investigate whether the Rivermead Perceptual Assessment Battery could be shortened. The relationships between subtest scores were examined and three short versions were developed by different methods. Comparison of these indicated no clear overall advantage of any one method. It is suggested that any of the three shortened versions are acceptable for clinical use.
