British reporters in Brussels provide much of the European Union (EU) news for British audiences. This article focuses on those reporters — on their views on access, constraints, sources and the EU `news story' itself. Are EU institutions fostering integration by managing their news appropriately? Have British reports `gone native' or are they typical of Brussels-based reporters from many EU countries?
