Abstract
Discusses information resource sharing in Asia and Oceania against a backdrop of developments in the library and information sector in Malaysia. Deals with the formulation of national policy for library and information services, the activities of the Malaysian Research Library Network, national information infrastructures in the region, institutional Research Library Network, national information infrastructures in the region, institutional consortia for regional cooperation, and regional document delivery systems and information networks. Concludes with reflections and observations on regional cooperation in Asia and Oceania.
